Lego: Bouquet of Roses - Botanical Collection

It was Sunday after lunch and I enthusiastically concluded that it was the right time to open my new set of Legos. The box waited for me for three weeks now and I was ready. Because when you are an adult, and you know exactly how much you paid for your Lego set, you want the timing for your ˝play˝ to be just perfect.

Bouquet of Roses was released was released in February, just in time for Valentine’s Day. It captured my attention immediately. I always look at Legos also from that practical site of aesthetics. Does this look good? Is it something I can keep on my shelf as decoration? Will it only look like clutter? You get the point. So yes, these roses looked lovely and I bought them for myself.

This set includes 822 pieces, arranged into 6 packs. The whole building ¨process¨ is divided into three parts. At the end you'll get 12 Roses (3 different types) and 4 branches of Baby's Breath.

I believe it took me three hours of slow building and just chilling with some old music in the background. It is embarrassing to say, but I had a dilemma or two, but I solved that quickly. A brick separator can handle everything! It is a bit harder when so many parts come in the same color, but maybe it’s just me.

Anyway, this was my second botanical set. About three or even four years ago I got the Flower Bouquet. That one was very colorful and included lots of tinier pieces. Both were very fun and relaxing to build, I would highly recommend them. Roses are more compact and easier to ¨store¨. If I move other flowers around too aggressively or try to clean them, they like to fall apart.

I like my Lego flower decoration, but I need to find a proper vase now because it got a bit crowded.

And in the end, if Legos make you happy, just buy them. No matter how old you are it is never too late.

Relaxation before sleep – watching beauty YouTube channels

(taken from: Tati Westbrook Instagram)       Glam Life Guru - Tati Westbrook Tati from L.A. is my favorite ˝YouTuber˝. Her channel was first which I subscribed to and watched regularly. I found it by coincidence, when I was searching for… you know something. She posts videos every work day, so she is very involved in this YouTube thing, I would say it’s her primary occupation. She recently launched her makeup line, she collaborates with Amazon and some magazines.  I believe her reviews are honest, although things are often sent or given to her. Her descriptions, tests, comparisons and swatches of products are very good. Her videos look very professional. They are also very versatile, from testing the most ridiculously expensive products to the cheapest ones.   She mostly filmes in her (new) beauty room, once a week she’s testing how new makeup items perform during running errands. And those kinds of videos I like to watch the most. Recently her fiancé is also pretty involved i

Artdeco: Crystal and Amazing effect mascaras

Artdeco become my favorite ˝drugstore˝ brand. They have high quality products with good ingredients and their production in based in Germany. I think I got rid of all ˝Made in China˝ makeup and decided to avoid some brands in big circle. Quality over quantity – that is my motto for this year. I want to reduce the number of my makeup products and be a selective and not impulsive buyer. Anyway let me show you two of my recent purchases (there were quite a few) from Artdeco.  Crystal mascara&liner ˝Onyx Glamour˝ First I saw Crystal lash mascara top coat from Estee Lauder and got excited as kid, but that one is expensive and always sold out. Then I saw that Artdeco has something similar and could be a great and cheaper (half that price) dupe for Estee, but sadly I was wrong. This is transparent mascara/liner with black and silver shimmer. You could use it alone or as top coat over your favorite mascara to add some sparkle. The product looks great on lashes; it

Artdeco: Mission Ruby Rose eye palette review

The holiday season is a great time for companies to release their limited edition palettes that are very suitable for gifting or just treating yourself to something new… and sparkly. This little gem comes from Artdeco and has a very appealing name –  Mission Ruby Rose. It contains eight eye shadows: two mattes, two satin, and four metallics. The pigmentation varies from shade to shade, which is very usual for the brand. Their products can be either a hit or a miss. Metallics are highly pigmented and just stunning, but full of shimmer, so be prepared for that. Luckily that glitter did not fall all over my face, but it made me nervous during the day… Those shades would be perfect for glamorous looks. The same thing is with mattes, although they are not so ˝loud˝, but can be easily build up. They are very buttery and easy to blend. The satin ones were a disappointment. They provide just a hint of color and are too bright for my taste. Overall it is a solid drugstore palette to add some sp
