Yet another expensive list

Welcome to May! A brand new fresh month also means a great excuse to make yet another wish list of things that recently caught my attention. And this is also my birthday month, so I can splurge a bit more. No?

Let’s start with something puffy and blue- Pinko Quilted Nappa leather flat bag. This looks fancier than your usual everyday bag but can be totally worn on many occasions, even if you just go grocery shopping. Why not? Dark blue is gorgeous, very fashionable, and would pair nicely with a plain T-shirt and jeans or your favorite spring dress.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Lumiere eye and cheek palette – it is that time of the year again and Estee Lauder is out with another Bronze Goddess collection. This palette surprised me because it is not that warm and bronzy. I love that they also included cool-toned shades and that way it is more versatile. I don’t like the ˝cheek˝ part in the middle, I think it is not practical- I mean how can you reach it with a face brush? Anyway, this palette looks stunning and comes with gorgeous packaging, so I think it is worth checking out.

The product I’m definitely getting is ˝On the download˝ by Essie, because I need yet another lavender-blue nail polish with shimmer. This polish is part of their Cyber Society collection and looks amazing in swatch pictures. So excited!

Here the big expensive elephant hiding in the middle of the picture – Dior Solar Hydrating and Refreshing After the Sun balm. There is always something magical about expensive luxury brands. We all want to smell like those rich ladies relaxing by the pool somewhere on the French Riviera. Well, this balm supposedly smells like a luxurious vacation, so… I think it would be great for after-workout pampering… just saying.

Let’s move up now to earrings. I love green and I also love leaves, so this is a great combination. These are silver, so it means that are not so expensive. I’m just not sure about the size because bigger is not always better. The earrings are part of Lencia collection by Zlatarna Celje.

Another item from Eastee Lauder, which was released last year, but is still available – Bronze Goddess Nuit fragrance. I tried this a couple of times and really loved it. There is nothing nocturnal about it, it is florally fresh, uplifting, and contains coconut notes. Original Bronze Goddess can be heavy for me, but this is very pleasant.

Because I love the body oil from the Karma collection by Rituals, I also want to try other products from the range. They are very pleasantly but not heavily scented, which I like and this line smells like tropical flowers. I also enjoyed their Sakura collection which contains rice and cherry blossom. Ok, now I want everything.

Relaxation before sleep – watching beauty YouTube channels

(taken from: Tati Westbrook Instagram)       Glam Life Guru - Tati Westbrook Tati from L.A. is my favorite ˝YouTuber˝. Her channel was first which I subscribed to and watched regularly. I found it by coincidence, when I was searching for… you know something. She posts videos every work day, so she is very involved in this YouTube thing, I would say it’s her primary occupation. She recently launched her makeup line, she collaborates with Amazon and some magazines.  I believe her reviews are honest, although things are often sent or given to her. Her descriptions, tests, comparisons and swatches of products are very good. Her videos look very professional. They are also very versatile, from testing the most ridiculously expensive products to the cheapest ones.   She mostly filmes in her (new) beauty room, once a week she’s testing how new makeup items perform during running errands. And those kinds of videos I like to watch the most. Recently her fiancé is also pretty involved i

Artdeco: Crystal and Amazing effect mascaras

Artdeco become my favorite ˝drugstore˝ brand. They have high quality products with good ingredients and their production in based in Germany. I think I got rid of all ˝Made in China˝ makeup and decided to avoid some brands in big circle. Quality over quantity – that is my motto for this year. I want to reduce the number of my makeup products and be a selective and not impulsive buyer. Anyway let me show you two of my recent purchases (there were quite a few) from Artdeco.  Crystal mascara&liner ˝Onyx Glamour˝ First I saw Crystal lash mascara top coat from Estee Lauder and got excited as kid, but that one is expensive and always sold out. Then I saw that Artdeco has something similar and could be a great and cheaper (half that price) dupe for Estee, but sadly I was wrong. This is transparent mascara/liner with black and silver shimmer. You could use it alone or as top coat over your favorite mascara to add some sparkle. The product looks great on lashes; it

Artdeco: Mission Ruby Rose eye palette review

The holiday season is a great time for companies to release their limited edition palettes that are very suitable for gifting or just treating yourself to something new… and sparkly. This little gem comes from Artdeco and has a very appealing name –  Mission Ruby Rose. It contains eight eye shadows: two mattes, two satin, and four metallics. The pigmentation varies from shade to shade, which is very usual for the brand. Their products can be either a hit or a miss. Metallics are highly pigmented and just stunning, but full of shimmer, so be prepared for that. Luckily that glitter did not fall all over my face, but it made me nervous during the day… Those shades would be perfect for glamorous looks. The same thing is with mattes, although they are not so ˝loud˝, but can be easily build up. They are very buttery and easy to blend. The satin ones were a disappointment. They provide just a hint of color and are too bright for my taste. Overall it is a solid drugstore palette to add some sp
