Missha: M Perfect Cover BB Cream RX in shade 23

At this moment believe me or not, I don’t own a single liquid foundation. I gave up on them for a while and rely entirely on my powder foundations and still strongly popular BB creams.

M Perfect Cover BB Cream RX is the first product I ever bought from famous Korean brand Missha, so I am not familiar with the original formula – M Perfect Cover BB and cannot compare them. This is supposed to be some kind of upgraded version, with additional anti-age benefits and higher coverage. I got mine in shade 23 and in travel size because I needed to try it first before committing to the whole size, which can be, as we all know quite expensive, especially if you buy the wrong shade.

This BB cream comes in 7 shades and number 23 is right in the middle, but still very bright. I can use it only now when I’m in my pale phase. The next shade is number 25 which looks very dark at first glance, but maybe it would work for me.

I use this mostly on my T-zone, to cover up my sunspots and under my eyes along with my concealer. They cooperate just nicely. I always apply it with my fingers, because it blends so easily. It works great with my oily skin. Although it is supposed to be moisturizing, it is not making me greasy and I use it over my daily moisturizer. Sometimes I top it with my sheer powder, so it is flawless for the whole day.

It provides light, but buildable coverage and looks very natural and flattering. It is a real skin perfector with that healthy glow. I also love the packaging which is so inviting and practical for application.

So if you are in search of a BB cream, I would highly recommend it.

Yet another expensive list

Welcome to May! A brand new fresh month also means a great excuse to make yet another wish list of things that recently caught my attention. And this is also my birthday month, so I can splurge a bit more. No? Let’s start with something puffy and blue-  Pinko Quilted Nappa leather flat bag . This looks fancier than your usual everyday bag but can be totally worn on many occasions, even if you just go grocery shopping. Why not? Dark blue is gorgeous, very fashionable, and would pair nicely with a plain T-shirt and jeans or your favorite spring dress. Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Lumiere eye and cheek palette  – it is that time of the year again and Estee Lauder is out with another Bronze Goddess collection. This palette surprised me because it is not that warm and bronzy. I love that they also included cool-toned shades and that way it is more versatile. I don’t like the ˝cheek˝ part in the middle, I think it is not practical- I mean how can you reach it with a face brush? Anywa...

Artdeco: Crystal and Amazing effect mascaras

Artdeco become my favorite ˝drugstore˝ brand. They have high quality products with good ingredients and their production in based in Germany. I think I got rid of all ˝Made in China˝ makeup and decided to avoid some brands in big circle. Quality over quantity – that is my motto for this year. I want to reduce the number of my makeup products and be a selective and not impulsive buyer. Anyway let me show you two of my recent purchases (there were quite a few) from Artdeco.  Crystal mascara&liner ˝Onyx Glamour˝ First I saw Crystal lash mascara top coat from Estee Lauder and got excited as kid, but that one is expensive and always sold out. Then I saw that Artdeco has something similar and could be a great and cheaper (half that price) dupe for Estee, but sadly I was wrong. This is transparent mascara/liner with black and silver shimmer. You could use it alone or as top coat over your favorite mascara to add some sparkle. The product looks great on lashes;...

Relaxation before sleep – watching beauty YouTube channels

(taken from: Tati Westbrook Instagram)       Glam Life Guru - Tati Westbrook Tati from L.A. is my favorite ˝YouTuber˝. Her channel was first which I subscribed to and watched regularly. I found it by coincidence, when I was searching for… you know something. She posts videos every work day, so she is very involved in this YouTube thing, I would say it’s her primary occupation. She recently launched her makeup line, she collaborates with Amazon and some magazines.  I believe her reviews are honest, although things are often sent or given to her. Her descriptions, tests, comparisons and swatches of products are very good. Her videos look very professional. They are also very versatile, from testing the most ridiculously expensive products to the cheapest ones.   She mostly filmes in her (new) beauty room, once a week she’s testing how new makeup items perform during running errands. And those kinds of videos I like to watch the most. Recently her fia...
