I usually don’t do the list of favorite products, but sometimes you need to do an exception. Some of them are so famous and multi-time reviewed, so I didn’t even bother to describe them fundamentally. All of them were great summer companions, so for all I can say that are heat proof and highly recommended.

Balea beauty effect under eye gel patches

I wanted to try some kind of under eye patches so badly and when I found them under drugstore brand I was so excited to try them. I mean prices of this stuff can be really up there and claiming about efficiency has no limits. I didn’t expect some kind of professional results, but just something to relax my under eye area. Mission accomplished! These patches have a long lasting cooling effect, which means that it lasts for the whole 20 minutes you have them on. This is surprisingly good for a budget, drugstore item. Patches are a bit thicker, rubber like and there’s no concern to tear them so easily. The only ˝problem˝ is that the line of where the patch was is visible for quite a long time after use, so you’ll still need to use a concelaer to fix this. I believe there’s a bit of plumping effect, but it’s not drastic. Cool way to cool down. (3x2 patches for 4,50€)

Anastasia Beverly Hills clear brow gel

This saves me every day and makes me look more put together. My brows can be a real mess and this is the only fixing brow gel so far that works for me. I will surely buy this again. The price is not inviting and I’m not sure just yet how long does one tube lasts. (Beautybay.com, for 19,80€)

Too faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette

Do I need to write anything about it? I always thought that expensive eyeshadows are not so better than drugstore versions, but I was so wrong. I can toss every eyeshadow I own and live just with this palette. Beautiful selection of useful colors, great packaging and smell approved by chocoholic. The only things I use rarely are the two highlighters inside.  (Debenhams, around 45€)

L’oreal Miss Baby Roll mascara

I’m not a big fan of mascaras. It can often irritate my eyes and I don’t feel so comfortable wearing it, I’m always afraid of the tears in my eyes and consequently smearing. One day I decide to give this one a try and I was pleasantly surprised. It curls my lashes beautifully and gives them length and volume. I just miss that separation part, which seems to be very rare with my purchases. Anyway, it didn’t let me down during hot summer days and it’s easy to remove. I’ve still got one problem with it; it can somehow feel heavy on my lashes, so I wear this just occasionally. (MĂĽller, 9,90€)

Revlon HD gel lipstick in ˝Sand˝

This was impulsive and unplanned buy, but it turned out to be a good one. This lipstick feels almost like lip balm, it is quite long lasting and very comfortable to wear. I feel lipsticks on my lips and they can bother me, but this is lightweight. I choose nude, sheer color, very work appropriate. Color can be a bit uneven, so if you’re sensitive about it, you probably won’t like it that much. Since it feels so good on the lips, I’m tempted to buy another, bolder shade. Maybe something out of my comfort zone. I took it with me on trip to London and was a very good travel companion; it survived flights and warm weather. It has the same taste like Revlon’s melted lipsticks and very practical, sleek packaging (MĂĽller, 11,90€).

Yet another expensive list

Welcome to May! A brand new fresh month also means a great excuse to make yet another wish list of things that recently caught my attention. And this is also my birthday month, so I can splurge a bit more. No? Let’s start with something puffy and blue-  Pinko Quilted Nappa leather flat bag . This looks fancier than your usual everyday bag but can be totally worn on many occasions, even if you just go grocery shopping. Why not? Dark blue is gorgeous, very fashionable, and would pair nicely with a plain T-shirt and jeans or your favorite spring dress. Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Lumiere eye and cheek palette  – it is that time of the year again and Estee Lauder is out with another Bronze Goddess collection. This palette surprised me because it is not that warm and bronzy. I love that they also included cool-toned shades and that way it is more versatile. I don’t like the ˝cheek˝ part in the middle, I think it is not practical- I mean how can you reach it with a face brush? Anywa...

Relaxation before sleep – watching beauty YouTube channels

(taken from: Tati Westbrook Instagram)       Glam Life Guru - Tati Westbrook Tati from L.A. is my favorite ˝YouTuber˝. Her channel was first which I subscribed to and watched regularly. I found it by coincidence, when I was searching for… you know something. She posts videos every work day, so she is very involved in this YouTube thing, I would say it’s her primary occupation. She recently launched her makeup line, she collaborates with Amazon and some magazines.  I believe her reviews are honest, although things are often sent or given to her. Her descriptions, tests, comparisons and swatches of products are very good. Her videos look very professional. They are also very versatile, from testing the most ridiculously expensive products to the cheapest ones.   She mostly filmes in her (new) beauty room, once a week she’s testing how new makeup items perform during running errands. And those kinds of videos I like to watch the most. Recently her fia...

Lego: Bouquet of Roses - Botanical Collection

It was Sunday after lunch and I enthusiastically concluded that it was the right time to open my new set of Legos. The box waited for me for three weeks now and I was ready. Because when you are an adult, and you know exactly how much you paid for your Lego set, you want the timing for your ˝play˝ to be just perfect. Bouquet of Roses  was released was released in February, just in time for Valentine’s Day. It captured my attention immediately. I always look at Legos also from that practical site of aesthetics. Does this look good? Is it something I can keep on my shelf as decoration? Will it only look like clutter? You get the point. So yes, these roses looked lovely and I bought them for myself.  This set includes 822 pieces, arranged into 6 packs. The whole building ¨process¨ is divided into three parts. At the end you'll get 12 Roses (3 different types) and 4 branches of Baby's Breath. I believe it took me three hours of slow building and just chilling with some old music i...
